What 墨玉程市 (深海墨客.台灣) and its tools do with your data. In short: the site has no accounts, no cookies, no analytics, no advertising and no third-party scripts, and the tools work on your device.
Every page, script, stylesheet, font and icon comes from this site's own server: the fonts and the Font Awesome icons are kept here under /res/ and /font/, not fetched from a font or script service. The site's security policy lets a page load things only from this site, with one exception: one 2022 blog post shows a picture from an older address of this site (👌.深海墨客.台灣), which no longer answers.
Links to other sites (the other apps, Tratopedia, profiles, music playlists, a redirect's destination) are ordinary links: those sites see your visit only when you follow one.
/)With a short key, such as /?KEY, the page sends you on to the address that key names, after an optional countdown. The hub itself stores and sends nothing; the destination receives your visit as it would from any link.
Without a key, / shows a clock. Its settings (theme, layout, language and whether the orientation readout is on) are saved in this browser's localStorage under gro_ovh_config. The battery level, the screen wake lock and the device orientation it can show are read on your device and never sent anywhere.

The catalogue's file check (/raw/) reads only the first 16 KB of a file you pick, on your device, to suggest the tools that open it. The file is not uploaded and not read further.
The libraries the tools use (PDF.js, jsPDF, fflate, hash-wasm, libheif-js, jQuery, maphilight and jsQR) are served from this site as well; Licences and Sources lists each one and the tools that use it.
Some unlisted pages are not in the list below. Those without a note of their own show pictures from this site, with links to music playlists, and store nothing; the others carry their own note.

The Changelog, Privacy and Licences and Sources pages, and the one-line footer that links them, show your language: the tools' spwa_lang setting when it is set, otherwise your browser's. The language button switches it for this visit only; nothing is saved.
The site's service worker keeps a copy of the pages and files you open in this browser's cache, so the site still opens offline. The copy stays on your device and is replaced when the site updates.
To guard against attacks and probing by malicious actors, the web server logs every request it receives: the IP address, the time, the page asked for, the page that linked to it (the Referer) and the browser. I cannot use this log to trace any visitor; it is used only to improve the site's protection, including its firewall. The log is kept for about two days and is not shared.
